I don't claim to be the most organized here (ADHD) BUT...
I'd start by categorizing the 'why'. Is it something you want to read again? Then maybe bookmarking it on Substack is enough. If it is to use as a resource? Maybe creating a page in Notion for "Content Ideas" where you have a series of things to reference could work.
I have a habit of bookmarketing ALOT which is why I have like 100 tabs open. An old productivity mentor of mine used to have a running document to brain dump stuff in through the week and then on Friday's hed go through a categorize/store things or delete what was no longer relevant (after some time passes it gives you a fresh view on if you do in fact need it)
Really great ideas in here, thanks for sharing. I feel like it's all somewhat "common sense" -- but articulating it the way you did is impressive, and executing on it all is the hard part of course!
This was a great read. I am looking forward to writing with these tips as inspiration for guidance.
Definitely focusing on the persona of the reader and tailoring the content based on that
Awesome Marcus! Anything stand out among the rest?
What great stuff Landon - really helpful.
I have a question:
if you read a post like this and you want to keep it as a reference guide, how do you keep track of it?
I find my self not being able to locate something I really liked later.
Or I end up with a ton of stuff and can't find what I'm looking for.
Thanks,
Michael

Hope that helps
Thanks, it gave me ideas.
I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to use everyone of your ideas. Great post.
That's why I created it my friend. Which one are you going to use first?
This is a wonderful guide Landon, thank you for sharing! I'll definitely be adding it to my Content Creation notebook.
Woo! Mission accomplished. Thanks Matt, I am very happy you found it valuable.
Thank you! This was brilliant.... I'm a newbie to Substack and really appreciate this article.
Amazing I hope it can act as a little playbook for you.
Playbook.. yes, I like that! Thanks again.
Thanks for sharing! This is very insightful and you make a lot of points that I hadn't yet considered. Keen to read more of yours creative processes
Thanks Dylan! Glad you found it helpful. Anything you think you'll put into practice?
I think the idea of reformatting the best long-form posts to short pieces and vice versa will be worth exploring

Most things aren't complicated. That doesn't make them easy.
Landon I'm running out of words.
Your article = years of experience = magic playbook
