This is great information I believe!❕❓ Thanks for putting this together. I had a surprise paid subscription to my substack this month and that gave me great hope! Hope that we can all grow together and make ourselves well doing the things we love and appreciate. Writing can be a full time job for many of us. Great work! 7 streams! ~Selah
Really enjoyed this great content, and just those 2 final things to consider.... "Reach" or "Skill". The clear and simple info re: "Mini Workshops" made me dig into my files and look at what pieces could maybe make the leap from paper to product. My mind just opened a tiny bit more today....Thanks!
Thanks for putting this all in one place. Definitely gave me some ideas beyond what I'm doing. Also a little overwhelming for a person with an audience of 30 on Substack. I have an audience of about 500 on Medium. I'm through my budget for 24 for courses etc, but will be looking into your Subliminal Selling Workshop next year at some point I think.
Thank you Mary. As I mentioned my reach allowed for some of this to happen. I didn't want to make it seem like I did it with 0 followers. While my audience is huge, it was still a factor. As I outlined, some of the more 'intimate' options can be beneficial when our reach is being built. It fosters connection. Shoot me a DM, reference this post and I will see if I can help you out.
This is amazing information. What you share has started me on the path to changing 95% of my content to free (in order to shift my focus from selling to offering a real advantage to my readers and helping them - my unique skill is being able to break complex concepts down to simple, easy to understand lessons).
But what really has me excited is the ability to wrap a bunch of them up and in Q1 2025, I will be releasing my first digital product!
I truly appreciate your platform and the lessons you are teaching!
Happy to help my friend. Maintain a testing mindset as multiple things can work. I find a lot of the process presents itself as we navigate our journey. Just this week I wrote a post and as I was writing, I realized I was laying out the structure of my next workshop. This is why I love this stuff :)
I like the affiliate idea. You can easily incorporate links into stories or at the end of posts and say something like, "Sponsored by blah blah blah." and link to them.

That's an awesome surprise!! Wish you the best
"How do I make money when I don’t have anything to sell…"
I don't think there's a sentence that encourages more to read the article than this one. Thank you very much for the text. Very interesting.
Just so happens I have a product around it, hint hint ;-) haha
Great advice! Thank you!
You're very welcome.
Great ideas! Thanks for sharing. I just launched my Substack on AI and Cinema. Will be implementing your suggestions 🦾
Amazing! Wish you the best my friend.
Thank You 🙏🏼
You bet.
Such a great article!
Thanks Alex

“How do I monetize?”
“What should I sell?”
“How do you balance growing on Substack and monetizing?”
Funny, i usually ask these questions at chatgpt and guess what, it’s free!!
No need for my content then!
Good content!
Thank you
Thanks for this will thought out list of ideas. I've definitely added a few to my to-do list.

They can be woven in very naturally into a newsletter or creator business especially with the tools that we use or people we are connected with.
